K4 COMPUTERS Earns CompTIA A+ Authorized Service Centre Gold Status from Computing Technology Industry Association

Melbourne, Victoria, 1st July 2011 – K4 Computers, announced today that its commitment to quality service and professionalism has been recognized by the leading trade association for the world’s information technology (IT) industry.

The Computing Technology Industry Association (CompTIA) has designated K4 Computers as a CompTIA A+ Authorized Service Centre™ Gold member.

“Designation as a CompTIA A+ Authorized Service Centre Gold is validation that a computer service centre has achieved the technology industry’s highest recognized level of competence,” said Richard Rysiewicz, vice president, services, CompTIA. “It is a strong sign that the professionals of K4 Computers take pride in their work and are committed to advancing the quality of their operations and service.”

The CompTIA Authorized Service Centre™ program recognizes computer, network, server printer and document imaging support businesses that employ certified technicians. These certifications are recognized around the world and throughout the IT industry as the foundation-level skills standards for technology professionals.

To achieve status as a CompTIA A+ Authorized Service Centre Gold, 100 percent of the service centre’s technical staff must be CompTIA A+ certified. CompTIA A+ certification is the IT industry’s recognized skills benchmark for entry into a technology career. Earning CompTIA A+ certification demonstrates a technician has a broad base of knowledge and competency in core hardware and operating system technologies, including installation, configuration, diagnosing, preventive maintenance, and basic networking.

In addition to technical certifications, CompTIA A+ Authorized Service Centre Gold companies must enroll 100 percent of their technical staff in customer service skills training programs offered by CompTIA. This ensures that customers receive top-level service that is effective, efficient and resolves their service issue in a timely manner.
