Graffiti Artist Sacked!
Our shop was recently hit by a not so impressive Graffiti Artist that the Council requested us to Clean it up.
If you know are the Artist or know the Artist, please tell them to try again, but this time, show us a sample first please.
What is graffiti?
Graffiti is to write, draw, mark, scratch or otherwise deface property by any means without consent, and so that the defacement is not easily removable. The materials commonly used for graffiti are spray cans, felt tipped pens and sharp instruments.
What can I do about graffiti?
- Report graffiti to council immediately on 9239 5100
- Report graffiti to the police as well- it’s important to let the police know so they are aware of the issues and can take appropriate action.
- Remove graffiti from your property within 24 hours- council can assist you with this (see the removal section of this brochure)
TIP: Be as specific as possible when reporting the graffiti. Make sure you give the location address (including the closest house number or the name of the park or street) and give as much information as you can (such as surface type, size, etc). The more information you give, the quicker action can be taken.

Microsoft’s Windows Phone 7 update, codenamed ‘Mango,’ now has multitasking capabilities and 499 other improvements to this smart phone’s OS. Users are able to move between programs, without losing their place, by simply clicking a button. The battery won’t be drained, thanks to the new design.
The phone has voice control features and access to Twitter and LinkedIn. Nokia will use this OS when it releases their Windows 7 phone.

Google’s Android 3.1 (nicknamed Ice Cream Sandwich) lets users resize apps and allows devices to act as USB hosts to connect peripherals to tablets. The OS can be used for any Android device. Google TV owners will get the on-air update and use head tracking to watch 3D without glasses.
Future open source options include home digital light switches, globes, games, alarm clocks, music and wireless control over other appliances.
Motorola Xoom Tablet
The Motorola Xoom Tablet runs on the Android 3.0 Honeycomb Platform, has 2 cameras, a video recorder and HD playback capability, 3D graphics acceleration and numerous high-tech sensors.
You can choose from different capped plans and repayment options through Telstra for this tablet which aims to compete with the IPad2 except that it’s $200 more expensive. Future updates will include a Micro SD Memory card and support for Adobe Flash.
Village Movie ticket on your phone

Android smartphones runs Firefox 4.0
Android smartphones runs Firefox 4.0. It’s 3 times faster than Google’s mobile OS thanks to improvements in parts of the browser’s JavaScript engine. Browser controls are hidden when not used as it’s geared towards small touch-screens.
It has similar features to the pc version with extras including: sharing websites via various apps, access to 1000s of add-ons for complete customisation, HTML5 support including location-aware browsing, desktop notifications and full encryption.
